Mentor/Advisor

Dr. Kum is a scientist at Aligos Therapeutics. He has a PhD in biomedical sciences at the Katholieke Universiteit (KU) Leuven, Belgium. He has expertise in molecular virology, vaccine design and development, antiviral research strategies and in clinical diagnostics. He has over 10 years of accrued experience both in medical and biomedical sciences with an uncompromising passion for evidence-based science. He has authored (co-authored) several peer-reviewed manuscripts in high ranking journals and co-inventor of 3 patented vaccine candidates against flaviviruses.
